You may think that would lead to being more productive, but no. That level of fixation leads to burnout, being miserable and being so anxious that you get paralized about starting anything because you haven’t planned things enough.

I mean, when I went to bed last night, after reading a book to keep my mind out of those thoughts, I could only think about schedules and work and how I could force myself to stick to a schedule to take advantage of every hour I’m awake in an optimized fashion. Yeah... no.

“I should be working” mood ends up killing my enjoyment of absolutely everything in life, so I’m glad I caught it before it started wrecking my other routines >< I already skipped going for a walk yesterday bc of it... and was too anxious to even enjoy my long breaks Dx

I’m usually still on the ipad on weekends, if not trying to squeeze some work (or being anxious about not working...) maybe I should cut that off one day a week?

yes I think so, also do some kind of exercise. Even just a 30 minutes walk helps a lot for me!
