interesting piece, basically that's why I decided to make only "small" games, ie dev time of 1 year max but many times less. I had 2-3 big failures when I started (working for years on some games that flopped) and it was really too stressful!

but as you said sometimes even IF you're successful, the amount of success brings stress in various forms like support, dealing with people, etc. Sounds crazy but I know what you mean. My suggestion would be to take at least six months of total break :)
