I noticed there's this sort of "mentality", of SOME users (a minority probably) that whenever they think a dev is doing something bad/wrong, they keep insisting just to prove their point, no matter if it's true or not. I saw this happening on many aspects. ->

it can be art/art direction, writing, etc or just overall direction a developer is taking. For example my friend and colleague
@WadjetEyeGames announced a 3d adventure and many are like "no don't do a 3d game!". Other times was less important things ->1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -
Sometimes they were right, like when they criticized heavily my original
#PSCD artwork (even if some people liked it). Others times instead seems they just do it on purpose, maybe with the only goal to piss off/demoralize the dev ->1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
Like when
#CursedLands was early out and "writing sucked". Maybe because my few games before it hadn't the best writing. And they kept insisting, and in the early months the game didn't do well and I got a bit of depression. ->1 reply 0 retweets 4 likesShow this thread
But shortly after I realized was going to be one of my most successful games of last few years and saw some people still insisting and I knew they were just doing it on purpose. So I guess the morale is: devs are allowed to experiment, to make mistakes to try new things :P
