It’s clear from a massive thread that I got involved in that consumers have no idea that an exclusive means the dev usually gets MONEY and good store placement. To devs this can be a lifeline that means they survive. They aren’t trying to be horrible.
Pfuit I have Uplay, Bethesda launcher and Blizzard! :P Well I am sure many USERS don't like it, but it's not a matter of what users like at this point...

Sure - and I don't resent Metro choosing Epic's store, or that the store exists - but unfortunately, despite very much liking the previous games, it's unlikely I'll be getting the new one. I installed Origin through gritted teeth :D

I installed Origin because of Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age, and The Sims 4. Perhaps when Epic's store has similar exclusives for my tastes, then I'll also install it through gritted teeth. But Metro is just one game which I can live without.
