1) all games you submit are by default "unlisted". You can share the URL but they don't show up in searches/algorithm. YOU do the marketing, BUT, you also pay 8-10% of commission instead of 30%

that wouldn't work, Steam monitors the activity/IPs, and besides would require a LOT of money. And it would be pointless - if your game is good you can make the money normally, nobody would spend that money to buy their own games (it's also illegal, money laundering!)

IPs are not really a problem for scammers and actually it only costs 10% of the actual money required to spend (because they get 90% revenue back) of each faked sale. This happened a lot on the app stores in the past to reach the starts so I think it would work on steam too.

Honestly I think a curated store is the best thing for developers and players (and I changed my mind on this during the past years) although I would love to see an open platform that works for both: developets and players.
