I know the answer of 90% of my fans/followers but was wondering, what do you think of using pre-rendered 3d character art in a game? and if that meant much more art in general?

3D renders age a lot worse than hand drawn stuff, you’d end having games that look old and not good. Any of your 2D games could have been released yesterday, considering only the way it looks. The old 3D ones… they look older than they are, probably.

I think it would depend on the games setting. For something sci-fi it could definitely work and allow for some interesting designs. In a fantasy setting maybe, but definitely not a sequel or spin off. I find consistency of art very important in one setting.
