Blitz only showed up much later (I want to say 90s) didn’t it? STOS is ancient :D

I think it was different in the uk & germany, iirc in Israel by the time vga & soundblaster became common (so ~1990) the Amiga faded pretty quickly.

Can’t easily find when blitz first released but wiki says STOS and AMOS released in ‘88 and ‘90 respectively & im pretty sure blitz was a bit newer than AMOS.

Yeah I don't know exactly. I was still using aseembly on Amiga in 1993 and I got Blitz Basic 2 around then. Probably only used it for a year then build a PC in 1994 to play DOOM.

At one point I had the Amiga and PC on the same desk but it didn't last long as the PC was just so much better (at games).

I honestly don’t think I’ve even seen an Amiga beyond the 500...

same here! I kept the C64 for 2-3 years after getting an Amiga, and an Amiga for 2-3 years after getting a PC

Only used either at friends places. My first computer was a pc (“ibm compatible”) circa 1987. Only had PCs and Macs since.
