if you're an experienced #indiedev and had to give only 3 tips to aspiring new ones doing their first game, what would they be? mine are:
1) MAKE A SMALL/SIMPLE GAME
2) KEEP COSTS DOWN
3) USE A CROSS PLATFORM ENGINE/LIBRARY
and now will elaborate them a bit->

That's what us the Linux users were saying for years and years, and we are happy that today many of the popular game engines are cross-platform (Unity, UDK, Godot, and off-course Ren'Py, and many others) :)
