so, what you think about RNG in games like XCOM or Battletech? it's good because makes the game unpredictable? or is bad because raises frustration?

I wouldn't say it it's "good" by default, but TotalBiscuit once summarized it very well - RNG means you have to think many steps ahead and know what to do if you miss that shot/get crited etc. It's only bad when it's too prevalent and punishing, making player's choices irrelevant
