there's also a thing to say: since the flood of games, each game gets much less reviews than before. So when you have 10-15 reviews, it's enough 2-3 negative to shift from 80% (positive) to 60% (mixed) so it's probably harder now

I'm reading more some reviews instead of looking into numbers

If it's "Mixed" I'm going to be peering down at the reviews to try and figure out why.

for the record, personally if it's mixed I don't even click on the game page... unless the kind of game/theme/topic particularly interests me

It's very important to me when I'm checking a few similar games (for instance: looking for a turn-based strategy). Then if one has mixed and the other is very positive odds are looking bad for the mixed one.

honestly, if a game gets nothing but praise I tend to doubt the game. I wanna know why they didnt lile the game because it can be somethign that I agree with and ignore but I myself actually like.

problem is when a game has few reviews, like 10-15, it's enough 2 negative ones to go from the magic blue >80% to the "orange of death" 69%

yup I think the worst kind of reviews are ones listing subjective things like "writing is bad" or "art is ugly" "music is bad". What for you is bad for me could be good and vice versa.
