    Zinfandel is the foundation, our flagship. is one of the best places on earth to grow it. It brings out the best in the grape. If I were to pair it I'd bring in a long cooked sugo over pasta-heavy on the mushrooms.

    A classic example of Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel with a burst of spice and ripe berries. From my cousin’s vineyard about 4 miles south of the winery. We have picked fruit from this vineyard since the 1940s when my grandfather owned the property.

    One of my favorite red wine pairings is roasted mushrooms. There is an earthiness to them that builds the bridge between the two. Adding a steak and a sprinkle of blue cheese isn't bad either.

    A6 Love 👏🏼 Rich, full-bodied with spicy aromas of berries, black pepper, cinnamon, & toasty oak. Flavors of plum & cocoa. Delicious!

    We have had 3 winemakers in our 90+ years: my grandfather, my uncle and now Montse Reece, who is from Spain and just finished her 13 harvest at Pedroncelli.

    Q5. I took Block 007 Sauvignon, to my favorite Italian restaurant I paired it with eggplant Parmesan

    A5 ’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a tasty ! Plum notes, berry flavors, toasty oak, and a long earthy finish 👌🏼 I’d pair with London Broil 😋

    100% Cabernet Sauvignon from estate vineyards, our winemaker Montse likes the ‘greenier’ aspect of Dry Creek Valley Cabernet-it’s the pyrazines in the grape and when grown in the Dry Creek Valley exhibits a touch of dried green herbs.

    Frank Johson was a visionary apple farmer who pulled up his orchards and planted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Appellation lines were drawn in the early 1980s and were placed in the middle of his property-Chardonnay on the Dry Creek Valley side.
