We are in difficulty ethical waters here, but I do wonder ho how many tens of thousands more birds die in oil spills, run-ins with oil derricks, loss of habitat to dams, etc. Of course the goal is zero deaths, but we're all out here today needing and using electricity...

Not only thousands of birds die, natural habitats of many animals are being destroyed by the windmills. Production of windmills is not nature friendly as well. Windmills are “efficient” only because governments subsidize them.
