PEI reported 1 new case today. This case is a close contact related to the daycare cluster reported in the last couple of days. No exposures are expected from this case, and no further cases have been detected among those isolating. There are now 10 known, active cases in PEI.pic.twitter.com/E7xl0d8IeP

NS Outbreak Detailed: Restrictions/case levels map Case origins timeline Cases per capita timeline with Halifax emphasized Comparison of Halifax outbreak wind-down to the worst outbreak in each health region in the country (scaled peak-to-peak)pic.twitter.com/STFZsU7hc8
Halifax has ticked down another level on the map (Cape Breton has as well. It took about 2.5 weeks from NS becoming aware of the outbreak to finding the peak. Six days out from the peak, case numbers have dropped by ~45%. Solid progress.pic.twitter.com/eFDmYHDOJR
NS test positivity this week was 2.06%. Asymptomatic PCR's were re-introduced as a testing option this week, so we should expect to see reported testing volume go back up (though probably no to it's peak).pic.twitter.com/omjqYXBOBj
Here's the situation in the region. The Halifax-area remains the largest in the region by far. There seems to be a cluster of some kind in Fredericton related to one of the quarantine hotels set up last month (details tbd). PEI is monitoring the daycare cluster (3 cases).pic.twitter.com/94RSJkbPJe
NL just has a weirdly high number of travel cases, currently. There's no evidence of a problem there that I'm aware of.

Vaccine Roll-Out Metrics 1st graph shows how many days since each province had enough doses to cover their current usage. 2nd graph shows percent of eligible population that is newly vaccinated each day 3rd graph shows days ahead/behind versus national averagepic.twitter.com/NTfXATlJ4n
This animation shows each province's vaccination pace as a percent of the pace they need to each 80% first dose coverage by the end of June (based on how many they have already vaccinated and how much time is left). Older data becomes less visible over time.pic.twitter.com/xBQK8nCLlG
Here is the current percent of the eligible population of each province covered by at least one vaccine dose (Territories shown in the 2nd graph).pic.twitter.com/slmKLXn7B4
Graph shows actual first dose coverage (blue) compared to a charitable maximum (green) that accounts for previously given 2nd doses and gives a 5-day grace period on deliveries. Provinces are sorted from smallest (good) to largest (bad) gap between actual/potential coverage.pic.twitter.com/DnWWdbM78L
