    Congresswoman Liz Cheney with a message to fellow Republicans ahead of today’s certification of the Electoral College:

    We have sworn an oath under God to defend the Constitution. We uphold that oath at all times, not only when it is politically convenient. Congress has no authority to overturn elections by objecting to electors. Doing so steals power from the states & violates the Constitution.

    There's zero question that the federal government could be distributing more vaccine and they are well behind on their goals. But NYC has over 350,000 doses sitting on the shelf. More than enough to vaccinate all EMTs, firefighters, transit workers, and NYPD.
