I’ve lived in Boston for about 10 years now and I think it may be the most boring city imaginable its genuinely staggering it hasn't birthed that many generational companies because there's literally nothing else to do.

I know of one now-unicorn startup that based an office in Sunnyvale instead of SF since the CEO was convinced that employees would party less in the South Bay suburbs … good theory tbh
