Bunny slope. Keep going between 'pizza shaped' skis and 'french fries' until you feel comfortable leaning a little bit and going left and right. It's like riding a bike. The second you can really do it, you can do it forever.

Getting lessons, all ski areas offer them. In person where I got corrected quickly worked well for me. Just turn a lot at first and as you get more comfortable you'll turn less

Practice turning and stopping the real way; turning your feet inward is really only usable at very low speeds. Twisting your body and leaning into your turns is critical

Take a lesson one day. Next day, sidestep up the hill until it seems big and get down without falling. Once you can get down and can’t sidestep any higher without getting super tired take the chairlift and get down. Then go higher. Repeat.
