More companies should just buy a bunch of land somewhere and build company towns. Pay people to move five minutes from the office. Reap the employee satisfaction.

Ex: Vanguard has almost everybody in one campus. In a classic Jack Bogle move, he bought a bunch cheap land and recruited people to rural PA. A rough commute is 20 minutes. Kinda the opposite of what tech does w new outposts in cities where everyone else has offices already.

valley forge is not that rural — you’re like 45 minutes max from the city. Kind of ideal placement for an office park tbh, beautiful area I miss it dearly
