Easily could have not hung the interpreters and their families out to dry. I’m personally here today making an impact in the world because of multiple brave interpreters. 1 of which is confirmed dead already. This was disgraceful and completely avoidable.

3rd option: multi months draw down of US supporters, then embassy staff, then airlift our military personnel. If we can fly out a few hundred transports equipment we could have done it for the local Afghans who supported us over the last 20 years. This display was avoidable.
