more workplaces need to understand that if u write something down once then u don't have to say it over and over again to slightly different combinations of people in like 6 different meetings

Not my experience. We run several weekly meetings off a shared doc. We spend the first 10-15m reading and commenting on the doc; the remainder discussing the comments
