      Even as an experienced founder this still gets me. VC excitement level in a meeting has almost no correlation to how excited they actually are.       VC excitement in order: 1. A term sheet 2. An invite to a full partners meeting 3. An intro to another GP at the firm 4. An ask for another meeting with you 5. An ask for some data about you If they don’t do one of those things without prompting then they aren’t that excited…
