much like time is a feature of the creation, and not the vessel in which creation is trapped— the body is a fewture of the soul

as a child i had exactly this metaphor for time in mind - as a vessel in which i'm trapped! it was like a felt experience. it's also interesting that in trying to define time we resort to spatial metaphors
