The most under discussed problem in healthcare is the quality of the data that is collected. Everyone wants to talk about AI/ML/Big Data and yet nobody wants to acknowledge 95% of the data the healthcare industry has is pure crap and therefore useless.

few understand the problem in healthcare is not with fancy ML or novel software systems, but just with getting data to a point where you can do basic regressions.

Yes, but luckily, ML can (and likely is/will) be used to get data to that point.
