The most under discussed problem in healthcare is the quality of the data that is collected. Everyone wants to talk about AI/ML/Big Data and yet nobody wants to acknowledge 95% of the data the healthcare industry has is pure crap and therefore useless.

ml researchers understand this they know it well b/c theyve theory-crafted ideas for ml applications in healthcare/medicine at some pt and quickly found it was impossible to get access to relevant, clean data even when they have willing collaborators at med schools

http://www.bcbmedical.com services collect disease soecific structured data, also via integrations to various other relevant databases (lab, etc.). Remains to be seen, how to exploit that with AI/ML
