the answer we gave at seed, and i still think is the only correct answer. "this forecast is wrong in one of two ways, either we're 10x under or 10x over. in both outcomes it won't make a difference what this forecast is."
IMO framing of the projection reasoning is most important. For me the question is where do you expect to get to with this capital that creates a step function of value? Seeing capital projections around that helps me understand where there are possible breaking points.
This is part of the correct answer, the rest of the answer is that the discipline of creating the forecast has immense value into the various levers and performance of the business
