ya that’s basically the silicon valley mythology right. i would probably say somewhat the opposite in that scamming probably drives dynamism whe the impacts are small scale but a fair amount of stagnation now comes from scamming at the top cannibalizing everything underneath

every emerging country I am connected to through family or friends functions as a giant scam and the whole problem is that these alternative rules and lies eat up vast amounts of time, talent and capital.
