The quality of the investment memo has NOTHING to do with the quality of the investment. It’s obvious when you say it out loud but I think this is one of the hardest things to learn and internalize early in your career.
In ~2017 dilligenced a now well known pre seed seed practice that was writing 97 page investment memos
