there's some effect where sports get more viewable _5, 10_ years into them being on tv
it took us a long time to figure out how to show basketball on TV, and newer sports are still on that growth curve. i.e. sailgp is going to spend a few $b making sailing a TV sport

also clear that some sports are far from viewable. NBA in the bubble was a dramatically better than outside of it, Tennis remains weird because of TV.
