Unclear why one would choose to work at a traditional Fortune 1000 type company these days, as opposed to a well funded growth startup - comp and job stability have become very comparable

Not meant as a diss on traditional Fortune 1000 companies - more a reflection of the fact that the risk of working a certain types of startups has largely decreased, and I do think you learn faster in startups (having worked at both)

You know many late-20s VPs in the Fortune 1000? Is that mainly in biotech? Only reason I ask is that of the ~10 or 15 F1000 VPs I’ve met I can’t think of anyone below late 30s off the top of my head. These are all non-tech industries, though. (Also excluding banks, LOL)
