  This is very telling of where the focus needs to be in the start up world. Seems to be like we need more attention on designing/building the product and establishing effective/healthy founder relationships to meet those quality dollars in the middle.

  The point about "without a relationship with the founder" is the whole game in early stage, imo. There's no business, so you're just betting on the person. It's 100% psychology.

  I agree with the second point , and actually it's the prices of the semi failed enterprises I object to ...raise 150k , trade for a year , do feck all compared with business plan , second raise at 2 or 3mill val because they need that to justify what they havnt achieved !
