the vast majority of people outside of very small networks of tech do not have access to deals that have any chance in hell of returning cash. Look across equity financing sites right now, this is what 99% of people have access to, bad

Anyone can just cold email every YC company that publicly announces its existence at demo day saying you’ll add a check into the round. Sure you’ll get into the bottom 30% least hot deals but the return profile will still be good.
