Probably the worst piece of advice consistently given to younger people is some version of “your 20s don’t matter, relax.” Every successful person I know started planting seeds in their 20s. The law of compounding interest applies to more than money.

Idk about that. There's something to be said about being a generalist early on and specializing in your 20s. My main concern until age 18 was my bench press and max squat for football, though after that age 19-28 was all math/physics/quantum, 24/7, 365. Worked out alright
