I adopted a shelter dog. His DNA test says that he's part husky, part samoyed. I remember when I took a DNA ancestry test, 23AndMe basically highlighted all of China. China is huge and so diverse. I feel like I learned more about my dog's ancestry than my own ancestry there.
someone is going to get massively rich in the next decade by developing better asian reference genomes. such a clear low hanging fruit and matters outside of genealogy in massively important ways.
