I love the passion economy as much as the next cartoon avatar but when are we all going to acknowledge that most people don’t want to do their job and be their own talent agent (Twitter is the worst place to discuss this since everyone here effectively *is* their own agent)
they’re just lying to themselves. The world is only pure when we are all self employed selling Etsy products to each other

you laugh but 80% of LA is just agencies selling to each other and manufacturing cash by fake acquiring to each other and the city is still standing
