Agreed. Taking the whole round isn't good for the investor nor the company
the biggest gap culturally between established and emerging managers is realizing how critical having a gang of 4-5 firms around the table is. so many emerging managers are eating 90-95% of rounds all the way up until growth and suddenly placing these companies in bad bad places
