The biggest, most common lie told in Venture Capital? "We can move fast". Yes, while its technically true that a VC can move fast, but only if YOU have everything on hand that they need off the shelf. Remember, YOU are doing all of the work to enables THEM to go fast.

Will, if i had been on twitter to see this stuff before we funded i would have begged, borrowed, stolen, whatever — to invest more ... by god i'd even have added value. at minimum i'd have sent many emails about doing so
