The biggest, most common lie told in Venture Capital? "We can move fast". Yes, while its technically true that a VC can move fast, but only if YOU have everything on hand that they need off the shelf. Remember, YOU are doing all of the work to enables THEM to go fast.

Oh, it certainly CAN happen - its happened to me. However, in my experience, you're FAR more likely to get a "we can move fast" message, followed by 10 custom data requests.
i've literally met with fund managers that stated the only delay to them getting a deal done is how quickly the SEC will allow you to wire a total over $5m+ the process is entirely within your head, transcend it brother
