anyone still have a elem/high-school coach in their head well beyond expiration date?
even for a mediocre athlete (at best!), still hear my boston 
team coach yell out, “come aahn, pick em up,” “you gotta quartah’ mila left!”
a coach’s impact as a lasting reflex, underrated.
high school lacrosse goalie coach. used to make you lay on your back with a helmet on and lug balls at your helmet for hours until you stopped blinking yelling "WE DO IT NOW BECAUSE ILL BE NICE TO AND YOU THEY WONT". still tell myself that oddly often.
