Much of higher ed metrics/methods $ are about attracting those with a mindset of completion and attainment. The bathwater is the system of ed, but the baby needs to include creativity. As such ed must inspire creativity, pragmatism and completion on a well built structural base
for 99% of students dropping out of school is a horrible idea. the literal worse part of the tech discourse is this derangement that universities are not massive drivers of economic mobility. Like sure they have many flaws, but fix those before burning some spires
