Usually only one founder gets fame/credit for success even if multiple founders were equally involved. Google is an outlier in that Larry Page and Sergey Brin are both well known, but why? Can't think of any other startups where founders got equal credit off the top of my head

I'm talking about partnerships that succeeded but one founder (the CEO) gets asymmetric credit I.e. Drew Houston and his cofounder.
