Really bullish on Neuralink down the road but one thing that scares me is how potentially fakeable that demo was Obviously BCI is super tough and what we saw was a significant breakthrough esp around safety but also doable with a force sensor + CV I'd think.

According to many friends doing grad work in BCI, this is flat wrong. Much of this research existed as n of one results in labs, but a systems integration of this scale is a decade advance of SOTA.

I worked on clinical implantation of brain chip implants.
The increase in resolution of the electrodes is incrementally impressive as is the robot, and commercialization is always cool, but that’s about it. - Show replies
