yes! also often ridiculous how they are used to justify high fees, when in reality only 20% of students probably use them
insane how we ignore administrator bloat as a driving cause in the high death rate of small colleges, and a significant barrier to starting new ones. my alma mater boasts a 1:8 student/professor ratio, but a 1:3 student/administrator ratio. economies of scale are everywhere.

The question I always pondered when walking the same paperwork across campus to another office was "how much of this could be automated with... Forget AI, how about just excel?" The random little fees just added to it... Lost paperwork? Obviously the students fault... Sigh
