i’m never gonna work like a dog just to work like a dog, having that as a “value” is a mistake and your culture will be polluted by people with no actual vision or drive just dummy stamina
what you actually want are people who give enough of a shit that they will work like dogs _if it’s the right thing_. have a mission important enough to them that they’ll do what the mission demands
I have never been a part of less productive cultures than ones defined by by how hard/long they work. I have literally never found one that ain’t defined by toxic frustration at previous cultures that “didn’t ship” without figuring out why
