Canceled my AMEX platinum today. No reason to keep it if there's no travel in the near future. Funny thing: Amex seems to get it. Unlike previous cancels, they didn't even try to retain me. Everything was done through the automated system.
I think I have enough Amex points to fly to Shenzhen back and forth six times, first class, and will have no ability to spend them for the rest of my life
