Part of me believes that child raising isn’t actually that hard, but it’s not acceptable to say that in public so you only hear from people who think it was hard
At some point you also have to deal with the fact that not all parenting decisions are good — some are dramatically better (if not even easier/higher EV). There are even institutions that have industrialized these (boarding schools) to extremely effective and low touch extremes
