Interesting that in the absence of an obvious post-SF Schelling point for tech people, many people I know are gravitating towards frontier-type places: Utah, Colorado, Texas.

Only someone who read PPE at Oxford and has lived in: “New York City, Washington DC, San Francisco, London, and Toulouse” would equate Austin, SLC/Park City, & Boulder as underdeveloped frontier. A cringe-inducing tweet by Nabeel.

I've lived in Texas most of my life. It has this frontier feeling. It's like Singapore with unlimited land.
