deciding on which term sheet you take based on who offers the highest price is like deciding on which executive to hire based on who is willing to take the lowest salary it's definitely... one way to make decisions...
i still still think the most useful conversation I had in venture was: me: “[x firm] is offering us 3x the price” our future lead: “considering they’re at least 10x worse than us that’s actually a really bad deal, you should try to move them up”
