I’m of two minds on this trend: - “wow, great that these kids who usually have a ton of student debt get to do that!” And - “diverse teams outperform. Optimally, should we be incentivizing teams of all 21 year-olds from the same social circles to build companies?”

as a 21 year old founder with only adult team members, i can safely say that if we had more 21 year olds on the team it would go extremely poorly

Maybe a contrarian view, but having the team include people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s+ is a good idea. 45 is way different than 35 and that's a huge difference to 25. As an old person, I'm also motivated to say this so..
