Sometimes I’m in the middle of an email conversation with a lawyer and I totally forget that it’s a weekend or holiday. When I eventually remember I always think to myself I wonder what tech would be like if everyone worked as hard as lawyers/doctors/bankers/etc?

I’m sure all founders do work as hard and also wonder the same thing. An associate or even partner at a law firm isn’t equivalent to a founder though.

might be a mildly hot take— but many post seed founders are “active” many hours a day, but are not working intensely for as many as lawyers/doctors are. Like fielding emails and calls for 18 hours a day is way different than 18 hours of acting advising

This isn't a humble brag about founders working hard. It's positing what would it be like if everyone did work as hard as doctors etc. Nobody is disputing those folks work hard. That's exactly my point.
