Silicon Valley is the definition of a long term game Succeeding at long term games requires long term strategies So I'll never understand why people trade long term reputation for short term gains, ie exploding term sheets, reputational threats during negotiation etc So odd
I’ve never heard a firm give a reason for an exploding term sheet other than “our reputation is so good it’s a flight risk” and they’ve never been that good
