I got about ~40% faster solving sudoku after casually watching an hour of YouTube (turns out sudoku YouTube is a thing) and now I’m wondering how many other things in life are shaped like this.

Would suspect most skills resemble this. The more interesting questions seems to be why so much of education is structured to teach you the steps to replicate deriviving these strategies, rather than the strategies themselves.
